Housecall Pro vs. Revvit: Which One Actually Fits a Growing Trades Team

Housecall Pro is a solid, well-known tool, and its pricing is at least public, which puts it ahead of a lot of the field service software category. As of this writing, their tiers run roughly: Basic at $59/month (annual) or $79/month billed monthly, Essentials at $149/month (annual) or $189/month monthly and capped at 5 users, and MAX at $299/month (annual) or $329/month monthly, capped at 8 users with additional seats at $35/month each.

Where teams start feeling the pinch is exactly at that seat cap. A 6-truck HVAC company outgrows the Essentials tier fast, and jumping to MAX for two extra technicians can feel like a steep step just to unlock the features your team actually needs day-to-day — recurring service plans, route optimization, deeper reporting.

The real question isn't “which tool has more features” — it's “which tool fits how my specific business actually runs.” Housecall Pro is built to be broadly good for a wide range of home service types. Revvit is built around the reality that a 5-truck electrical contractor's paperwork, dispatch logic, and customer communication needs look different from a property-stay operation's or a specialty contractor's — the tool should bend to the work, not the other way around.
